Anyone who meets me often quickly realizes that my passion is for the world of wine. I’ve been fortunate to travel the world to experience some of the great regions firsthand, to touch the soil with generational winemakers, and to experience wine with a genuine thirst of an enthusiastic student.
Being a chief executive, I became a Sommelier as an outsider to the world of restaurants and hospitality. My desire was to use this passion and quest for knowledge to do something more, and I found that others valued the unique perspective I brought to wine. In 2015, I passed the Certified Sommelier exam through the Court of Master Sommeliers, and am now studying through the WSET Diploma on the path to become a Master of Wine. This demonstrated ardor for the world of wine, combined with my executive experience, has earned me the trust of private collectors and major corporations alike when it comes to being their wine advisor.
In addition to consulting for private collectors, I am the host of a bi-weekly virtual tasting, The Purple Teeth Tasting Hour, and regularly organize custom virtual and in-person wine programming for private, corporate, and non-profit engagements alike.
